D.Ed is known as Diploma in Education and is a diploma level special education program. Students who have passed the class 12 level exam can apply for the course. Through this course, the aspirants can pursue their careers as special education teachers. Special education teachers are teachers who are trained to teach students who are differently-abled. The aim of the course is to train the aspirants as per the skills and expertise required to teach students depending on their disability. The course curriculum depends on the specialization opted by the aspirants and consists of subjects such as hearing impairment, visual impairment, locomotor disability, deafblindness, low vision, learning disability, autism spectrum, disorder, multiple disabilities etc.

3.Eligibility Criteria:-
The candidates who want to pursue D.Ed in Special education need to fulfil the given eligibility criteria to get eligible for admission:
•The candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or an equivalent degree from a recognized institute.
•The candidate must have pursued 10 + 2 level degree in the science or humanities stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% (40% for reserved categories)
